Mankato United Soccer Club invites teams to participate in SoccerFest, a soccer jamboree for MN DIII (formally Gold, C3, and Blue) and rec-plus teams in age groups 8U-14U. Our goal for SoccerFest is to provide players with an opportunity to experience the excitement of playing soccer in a safe, fair and fun jamboree environment. All players will receive participation medals.

Soccerfest runs from 9 am to approximately 6 pm with play at the Caswell North Soccer Complex and the Good Shepherd fields. We will have separate brackets for boys and girls teams in 7/8U, 9/10U, 11/12U, and 13/14U.

Medical Assistance: Basic medical assistance will be provided on site. Local medical providers have been notified of the tournament. Teams are responsible for player transportation to medical facilities, unless an ambulance is required.

GAMES

Each team plays three games. We use a round-robin tournament generator for the festival. We  try and schedule a break between matches.

  • 8U will play two 15-minute periods
  • 10U will play two 20-minute periods
  • 12U will play two 25-minute periods
  • 14U will play two 25-minute periods

SoccerFest is a player-centered event. Everyone present will be responsible for helping to promote a positive atmosphere. Players, coaches, spectators and officials, will follow the code of conduct as described in the MYSA Policies and Rules Manual. Procedures for red cards will follow the MYSA Policies and Rules Manual.

  • 8U is 8 players
  • 10U is 14 players
  • 12U is 16 players
  • 14U is 18 players

Team Registration Fees:

  • 8U is $180
  • 10U is $220
  • 12U is $240
  • 14U is $260

ACCEPTANCE, WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLED GAMES

Acceptance: Mankato SoccerFest accepts teams based on date of registration. Once brackets are full, any additional teams will be placed on waiting lists. Teams will receive notification of acceptance no later than May 18, 2024.

Withdrawal: A team that withdraws before May 19 will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. If another team is available to take the place of the team withdrawing, then the withdrawing team will receive a 100% refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. Teams that withdraw after May 24 receive no refund.

Cancelled Games: A team with games cancelled due to weather will receive a voucher for 25% off fees for any one team from their home club for SoccerFest 2025.
